No fear for death my friend!!

 I am not afraid,

Longing for a quiet peace,

Death, my friend at last.

Happiness was sought,

But like leaves, it blew away,

With each rising dawn.

Failed in my pursuit,

Hope fades with the night approaching,

Silence wraps my heart.

Love and respect missed,

What good is a long journey

If it's laced with pain?

I want warmth, not walls,

Friendship, laughter, gentle touch,

Not wealth’s empty gift.

Good things line my path,

Yet an emptiness remains,

Still, I breathe and wait.

Life's not length that counts,

But moments filled with true joy,

I embrace the end.
