Comparing Daughter and Daughter-in-law!!

Almost everyday I see a post in social media, that compares a daughter and a daughter in law. They go viral in no time and people seem to be liking them, reposting them. Many a times I feel irritated to see them, sometimes I do ignore and sometimes I feel like replying to such posts. Why??

I do not understand why there is a need to compare a daughter with a daughter-in-law. If I am daughter to one family, I am daughter-in-law for the other family. If its always that a daughter enjoys privileges over a daughter-in-law then I do enjoy the same in my family and I do not enjoy the same in my in-laws place. So, where is the need that I should compare myself with my sister-in-law?? After all she is the daughter of the house and she should get that privilege of being the  daughter. Is not it greed in our mind that makes us want that privilege to be given to us in our in-law's place. If we need that privilege are we ready to give up the privilege in our parents home for the shake of your sister -in-law?? Huh, I am sure no body would do that. But, everyone want that amazing feeling of being treated like a daughter in both homes.

There are posts which compare how happy a mother becomes when son-in-law listens and helps in doing chores with daughter but she does not like her son to do the same with the daughter in -law. This also is basically same. If a mother is so happy to have a son-in-law like that she should understand there is another mother (mother of son-in-law) who is very sad because your beloved daughter is making her son to do all that you do not wish your son should do for your daughter-in-law.

I feel instead of comparing daughter and daughter-in-law or son and son-in-law, everyone should think of ideal situation and ways of leading a life that can be run in that same fashion for a longer period of time. All these things do not run for long. Be it daughter/daughter-in-law or son/son-in-law with the added responsibility each day, things change and the drama of showcasing love and care reduces. Love remains but the extra attention, care vanishes as we age. To me it appears best to compare a daughter-in-law with a son-in-law. Both are the lateral addition to a family and come from different family, background. When we compare a daughter to a daughter-in-law the basic problem is you know the daughter really well. How she thinks, acts everything from the childhood. If she does say something rudely also, parents instantly understand why she did it. But when it comes to daughter-in-law, she is new to a family and you never know how she reacts or responds to different situations that life brings in.

Now, why I say comparing daughter -in-law with son-in-law would be ideal? Its because the expectation from son-in-law is very minimal. Just like Amit Tandon(stand up comedian) says all that is expected out of a boy in India is, he should be born. That's it. Parents do not expect the son-in-law to call them daily. If he never calls, no body complains, why?? They assume its his nature, may be he is like that. If son-in-law visits home and does not talk much, they say he is silent kind of a person. No extra expectation from a son-in-law. But, when it comes to daughter-in-law , she has to call everyday or may be every other day. She should cook as per the liking of everyone. She should mingle with everyone. She should give respect to elders and love to younger ones. The list is pretty long. That's why no parent tend to educate their son on how to behave with in-laws but they are always ready with a long list on how their daughter should behave at in-laws place.

Yes, lately things are changing and I see lot of issues in marriage because of the girls behavior. As per the TV shows also such things are becoming more common in socially backward groups. Why?? These girls from rural areas just live in a dream land. They do not understand what it takes to settle in urban area. How finance will work for them? Even if husband earns meagre amount, she wants to enjoy the life in urban place, without understanding that she will have to stay in a single room in slum area. She has to cook, sleep, keep her belongings in that small room. It is in best interest that she be in village and enjoy life with decent home than put up in a dirty, dingy place. From where to do they get this idea of living in cities comes. All thanks to our TV soaps. More or less these daughter and daughter-in-law comparison is also erupting out of the baseless TV soaps.

Relationship - Is it real or fake ?

Hi Readers,

Before you read on, I want you to know this isn't a story about my family. I adore my mom; she's my best friend. This is an exploration of a question that has been haunting me lately, a question about the nature of love itself.

It started with a piece of news I can't shake. A man I knew distantly, a senior official in the government, took his own life. He had just finished distributing his son’s wedding invitations. The wedding, set for this Sunday, was the culmination of a five-year struggle. His son was marrying a woman from a different caste. Both families were well-respected, but the social barrier was immense. After years of fighting for their love, the couple had finally received their families' blessing. Or so it seemed.

What pushes a father to make such a choice days before his son's happiness is solidified?

It reminds me of a story from my college days, where a friend’s mother attempted suicide to stop him from marrying the girl he loved, all because of her caste. The couple tragically separated, choosing her life over their love.

These stories clash with everything we're taught to believe about parental love. We call it "unconditional," a sacred bond unlike any other. But is it? When love is used as a bargaining chip, with a parent's life hanging in the balance, it feels deeply, painfully conditional.

Parents rightfully point to their endless sacrifices—the sleepless nights, the worries, the constant care. It’s a debt we can never truly repay. But I question the motive behind reminding us of this debt. When a mother nurses a sick child, she isn't just easing the child's pain; she's easing her own. She simply cannot stand by and watch her child suffer.

That raw, protective instinct is beautiful. But it becomes a weapon when it's wielded as emotional blackmail to control a child's adult life. The moment a child’s choice threatens the family's "prestige" or "status," the conversation shifts from the child's well-being to the family's reputation. In that moment, love is no longer about the child; it's about the image.

It leads me to a bigger, more uncomfortable thought: perhaps all human relationships are transactional. We are driven by our wants, our needs, and our expectations. We hurt each other when reality doesn't align with the stories in our heads.

In this, animals seem far more evolved. They raise their young and set them free, expecting nothing in return. Theirs is a cycle of life, not a cycle of debt and obligation. We humans, with our complex societies and fragile egos, have learned to chain each other down with the weight of the past.

The irony is staggering. We pray for a child, we move mountains to bring one into the world, simply because we need them. They are the answer to our desires. But once they arrive, we forget that they are a person, not a project. We forget that the child who gave us the gift of parenthood deserves the freedom to live their own life.

The human heart is a paradox. It is capable of a love so fierce it can feel cosmic, yet so insecure it can be shattered by something as fragile as societal opinion. And for what? In the end, we all leave this world alone, with nothing but the love we gave and received—hopefully, without conditions.

Loneliness, patience and a prayer to almighty

Today, I was talking to an old friend. I do not want to name her, but we shared room in Bangalore. She is a simple girl, simple in terms of dressing herself modestly. Simple, in terms of dreaming and being ambitious about life. As far as I know her she never had any boyfriend. She just wanted a life partner.

Her sole aim was to make her family happy and proud. She was hardworking and got placed in a reputed organisation. After her job she had only one hobby, reading spiritual books of SriMaa and Aurobindo. I had a chance to visit the Aurobindo Ashram with her couple of times. We used to purchase lots of book from the Ashram store. We both used to visit Iskon temple several times and we were regular at the malls and commercial street. We both used to have our breakfast in our PG and then start our journey. Full day shopping, movie etc with lots of mouth watering foods and then used to return to our PG when we would just come back and fall asleep.

Those were one of the best days, we used to plan then that if we get married and settle down at same city, then we would re-live these moments again and again. We would leave our husbands at home and go together. But, sadly this never happened.

One day, she got transferred and left Bangalore with many dreams and I was left alone to succumb in loneliness. I did not get any better friend than hers in my PG. Rest were just  acquaintances, some with bad temperament, some with too much attitude and few more who were reluctant to speak in any other language leaving their mother tongue. I had another roommate also but she loved being alone. She only used to talk about TV soaps with me. At that time, I missed her badly. I felt like I am made to just work and then live in my loneliness. I tried but never got an opportunity to be with her again.

But, at least god has been benevolent to give me a partner who is their to listen to me, to support me. After, four years at least I have a family to live with. But, my dear friend is still waiting to get a partner. She stays alone. Her younger sister got married and she is yet to find a good match. The match making procedure is really not very appealing experience to live again and again. And it becomes extremely annoying when your parents also would start sending in every individual to you, without even considering any aspect. I may not understand how parents actually feel about it. But, yes this is not something any girl would like to undergo again and again. She has that feeling now.

I can understand and many others would do who have had similar experiences, but can anything liberate them of this pain. Still, many of our classmates are not married. Most of them would definitely be feeling similar pain if not staying with any family or friend. Sometimes, others pain is so much more painful that you actually forget your part of pain. Yes, problems and pain are one essential part in day to day life. And that hold good here.

I just want to co-relate the saying that you have to learn from your problems and life teaches it in a bitter way. But, how the problems that my friend is experiencing right now give her a lesson. What sort of lesson she should learn? Yes, someone can say why she herself do not try and find a partner. True, this holds good for many other countries. But, this is India, even if  she gets a partner, the road to being success would not come easily.

Now, lets leave India aside, even in other countries this problem would be there. People may find it difficult to get appropriate match. I just want to understand how they live, not mere live but enjoy being single and alone.

zindegi ab tu hi bata mein pyar ab tujh ko kaise karu....

Zindegi ab tu hi bata mein pyar tujh ko kaise karu,

I have put this for Jiah Khan, Indian Bollywood actress who committed suicide last week. I don't want to discuss Jiah as such but saw many comments  for and against this dusky Diva in Facebook. Someone wrote, even teenagers are more matured than her after her suicide note was found and publicized. True, time has changed and even teenagers won't go behind cutting their hands and writing letters in blood. Very few teen's take their life for love. But, I have some questions in my mind that made me write this down.

What is maturity? Is it dumping someone? Is it handling a torn heart and again forcibly making it ready to get similar pain's?

I don't want to justify what one should do or not do. I just want to elaborate that feeling of having a broken heart. Nobody can change another persons mind by doing anything. Influencing another person to that extend is really hard and not so worthwhile. True, one should move on. But all this lines feel like philosophy and stupid lecture at that time. You choose someone to trust and your decision was wrong. That person is not trustworthy may be not a responsible person to take stand for what he/she has done.

That moment when you loose control over pain is the time you think why I am here, I do not want to witness all this and take pain again. It is a very impulsive pain. A pain that is hard to withstand. Everyone, who has broken would have got the signals much earlier. But, yes not listening to one's intuitions and still believing in your heart that things will turn in your favor is your biggest mistake. You would either loose interest in having a proper meal or you overindulge in it. Sometimes falling sick of just crying over and over.  This is the saddest and most painful feeling that your closest person can give you. A very sharp and back stabbing feeling. As though you were having a poisonous snake with you and you loved it, fed it so that it can bite you.

We have created this society made its rule so that that could benefit us. But, this society and our laws have nothing big for these kind of people who play with emotions and back stab another. Now, teenagers and adults have more issues related to heart broke, be it before or after marriage. We all need to think and come up with answers for, the values, which are missing that is adding up to this problem. How we can make this a better place relationship wise. What should be our core value that we can give to our next generation that it will not have to withstand all this drama. Handling it somehow, letting go, is not solving the entire problem in picture ...

Anger

Hi Readers,

Today, I am going write about basic human emotion "Anger". There are many articles published on anger management, however very few individual have full control on anger.

The first question is "Why we get angry?" This happens mostly when our need be it emotional, physical or economical does not get satisfied. There is also another factor situation, some situation irritates us so much that we eventually vent out our emotion in form of anger. Though we cannot change the circumstances which makes us angry, we definitely can control our emotion. History of this world has changed many a times by the human being who channelized anger in an effective and constructive way.

Anger is a form of fire inside us. If we can use it to light a candle then it will fill in light and remove the darkness from our life. However, if we are unable to control our anger, it could cause a huge fire which can burn down our beautiful life ahead. Take for example Mahatma Gandhi, we all know his anger when he was thrown out of train. He channelized his anger in such a beautiful way that it spread light in two continents. He managed his anger to not only light a lamp for him self but for a huge mass of people.

In every holy scriptures be it Bible, Kuran or Gita, Patience, tolerance and courage has been valued above all other emotions. When we pray, we should ask our almighty to give us patience, tolerance and courage to over come the miseries of this world. We need to manage anger in such an effective way that we do not vent out in slightest agitation. When pressure builds on us, slow down and count form 1 to 10 before you show your emotions. Meditation and immense faith on God also helps in controlling anger.

Posco's upcoming India Plant

Hi Readers,

I am not going to write about the politics and the side effects of  Posco project which has led to a riot situation in Kujanga area. Posco, the third largest steel producing Korea based company and the Odisha Government signed the agreement in year 2005 to set up Posco plant in Kujanga- Ersama area in Jagatsinghpur district. According to agreement the plant should have been functional by 2010. However, the oppostion and local people's agitation could not make it possible to have it ready by the year end 2011.

Lets first of all think of our Jagatsinghpur district. Jagatsinghpur stands first in density of population in Odisha. It also stands first in literacy rate (80%) after Khurda. Khurda district has Bhubaneswar the capital of Odisha which counts towards highest literacy. Thus, taking into consideration this Jagatsinghpur district has highest literacy rate. Now, I am going to introduce you to my own village.
My Village Garia has not a single family where children's do not attend primary education. Almost all the youth population here has a graduation degree. Moreover, the people here do not fall into BPL category. Most of the family barely depends on cultivation to meet their daily bread and butter. The educated youth and their respective parent do not want them to work as farmers. Therefore, the young youths start searching for jobs, when they do not manage to get a good job, they try to work in small shops at Bhubaneswar or Cuttack. Some of the youth  work in other state as painters, plumbers etc. Why they choose these jobs in another state? The reason is simple, they do not want to loose their family honour by working in our own state, they find it difficult to accept their occupation after having a graduation degree.

Additionally, the village crop and cultivation largely depends on climatic factor. Every year flood  & cyclone hits Jagatsinghpur, and destroys the crop. So, my question here is, how to employ these educated youth so that not only these people but their family and our state moves in the path of progress. Natural calamities can not be controlled by anyone, and if this goes on then from where these people will get their daily bread and butter ?

I am not writing in favour of Posco or against it. But, I agree there needs to be something that could employ these people. If any industry is set up in this area, it will not only give employment to people who are directly employed by the company, but would also give indirect employment to many others who would be engaged in providing the basic necessities to the employee of the industry.  In setting up a township, thousands of people would be engaged.

Unemployment is the biggest problem of Jagatsinghpur district. People of other districts like the KBK are far behind Jagatsinghpur both socially and economically. Many NGO's are engaged in these districts to feed the people, give them proper sanitation and drinking water facilities. But, what about the problem of Jagatsinghpur, who will come up with a better solution for these educated and unemployed people.

I wish if these youth would ever think by themselves what they can do, and they should do to improve their condition. It is easy to divert these people in any direction and start a riot. Unemployment and poverty leads to unsocial activities. I have kept all my prayers to help these people take their decision by themselves and I also wish Odisha government to take a more appropriate and non-violent way to come up with this project which would no doubt benefit many.

I understand there could be some terms by which it will help Korea, but I do not believe in keeping the resources and not utilising them. If India government has enough resources then let India set up plant for itself. If not then their is no harm if we can make progress by mutual understanding with another country. This will not only strengthen our bonds but would also take us in direction of progress.

Footwear

Hi Readers,

Today, I want to dedicate this page to footwear. Footwear or shoe is not allowed inside Indian kitchen and in temples, other than this it has a very special place in trade, tradition and protest. Footwear has given someone his daily bread and someone its a means to protest. Throwing shoe at the victim of protest or making a garland of shoe and placing it around the effigy is a mark of protest. After China, India has gained a special position in shoe manufacturing. However, we still have thousands of people who have never used a pair of shoe in their lifetime. Footwear has many story linked to it, however it has only one aim that is to serve mankind.

When was shoe invented? To keep feet warm and protected it was first invented nearly 20 to 40 thousands years ago. However, Indian mythology suggest its use even much earlier. Earlier shoe was made up of wood or leather, in 20th century the use of plastic, rubber and synthetic polymer in manufacturing shoe was started. In year 1840 the first footwear design specifically for ladies started with the footwear of Queen Victoria.

Prativa Ray , Odia author with a story linked with footwear was able to get goose bumps in all her readers. The story was about a uncle and his nephew. The uncle who with utmost difficulty was able to make his nephew a much educated and established person, had one wish, that is to wear a pair of slippers. However, the nephew who had settled in city and was obsessed with his work had completely forgotten his uncle's wish. When he remembered about it, it was too late. Like the character of "Uncle" who knows if many would have still the same dream of wearing a pair slipper.

India is second largest manufacturer of shoe in the world after China. Almost all the well known brands have started manufacturing from India after getting license. In whole world except India, the footwear industry make a more production of women footwear. However, in India it is The reverse case. India produces most for men footwear.

Odisha had earned great reputation at the time of independence for shoe making. Madhusudan Das ( Utkal Gaurav Madhusudan Das) had set up a Shoe manufacturing company which had around 100 cobbler and 300 helper. These workers were so linked with Madhusudan Das that they were able to impress Mahatma Gandhi . This organisation was able to leave its footprint in Gandhi, and he had set up a tannery unit in his Sabarmati Ashram. One day, Madhusudan Das found a small hole in one of the shoe produced by his organisation Utkal Tannery. He never wanted to cheat his customer and thought the leather must not be in good condition due to which there was a hole. So, he had burnt all the shoe produced out of the same leather.  People still talk about his patriotism and noble  attitude.

"Ban on Jasmine"

Hi Readers,

Are you aware that our neighbouring country CHINA has removed the word Jasmine from all its dictionary? What was the guilt of this beautiful scented Jasmine? Why did China government has ban on it?

If you search in the Internet with the word Jasmine in China it will reply that there is no such word. The farmers who used to produce Jasmine before 2011, have lost there source of income because the government has a ban on Jasmine. There was a beautiful song in China dedicated to its President which used Jasmine as a word. Now, broadcasting that is also banned. After all why did this all happen, what was the guilt of Jasmine that China has a ban on it. Why did China ban its flower festival named Jasmine festival after all. All this started in February 2011, when there was people's revolution against its diplomatic ruler at Tunisia (North Africa). Tunisia has Jasmine as its national flower. And this common mass revolution against its government was named JASMINE REVOLUTION by international media. This revolution not only had the people of Tunisia overcome its Diplomat ruler Ben Ali, but also led to other revolutions in Egypt and Libya. The result of all this revolutions is known.

During this agitation, the Internet flooded with news and blogs and tweeter started raising people to have peace march holding Jasmine in their hand. Though the people of Tunisia called this revolution Dignity Revolution, it gained fame as Jasmine Revolution world wide.

The China government fearing that people of China will follow the path that Tunisia has shown, led ban on this scented Jasmine. Now, SM S's Internet, even talking and growing Jasmine in China has been banned. However, the farmers who depended on Jasmine cultivation are in loss. And its hard to understand why there was ban on this flower, just because its name was used in the revolution.Nobody, has any answer to the strict ban on use of word Jasmine in China.

"In the name of Honour"

Today, again the  nuisance in the name of honour hits the headline in all local newspaper. Another, case emerges and this time its not from any of the northern states, but Andhra Pradesh.Last night parent of an young couple decided the FATE of their young children,by hitting them with boulders.

In last year or so HONOUR KILLING has hit the news several times. Be it the KHAP PANCHAYAT in Himachal or the ruthless mother from Jharkhand.Even though, many NGO's and media tries their best to make people understand the evil effect of Honour killing, it seems to have no end.

Its not that it happens only in Indian subcontinent, the same practice is followed in many of the Western countries. Sometimes, I feel pity for the people who practise this brutal act. I just wanted to ask that ruthless mother,( who could force her daughter to drink Poison,) was she really the mother of that child? Could a mother kill her own child? If yes, then where has gone that love with which she brought up her child.
How could these people imagine that they will restore the family honour by conducting such a brutal act? When I try to imagine the situation from the other end, that is the side of parent and family, I do agree, these young couple might not be in a condition to listen to their parent. The parent would have tried their best to show their beloved child the adverse effect of their decision. However, the child has his/her view point and most importantly is in LOVE with another human being.

There could be thousand reasons to put forth in both sides, however I am not trying to pull out a discussion or debate on the issue. I just want to ask, "DO YOU REALLY THINK SUCH BRUTAL ACT CAN RESTORE THE FAMILY HONOUR?" I am sure the answer would be NO, then why to get indulged in such heinous crime.

I am looking forward to view the movie KHAP and see how the director and team would portray their view in this subject matter. I am not sure what could be the way to make people realise the adverse effect of such heinous crime. Is it education, no it can't be, even educated families are engaged in such practice.

Interpretation by small kids

Have you ever marked a small child giggling when thrown up in air?Have you marked young toddlers looking hear and there when they walk holding the hands of their parent?

Oneday a young girl was crossing a wooden bridge along with her Dad. The wooden bridge seemed to be weak,so the father was little scared,so he told his little girl," Sweetheart! hold my hands so that you dont fall into the river."
The little girl replied,"No Dad! You hold my hand."
"What's the difference?" asked the puzzled Dad.

"If I hold your hand there is a chance I will let your hand go when something happens to me"
"However,if you hold my hands,I know for sure no matter what happens you will never let me go."

This is trust of a small child, the essence of which is utter faith. Therefore,a small kid smiles when thrown up,because it knows for sure it will never be let go. Kids remain in their own tune as they know nothing will happen to them when their parent are there.

So, hold the hands of person who loves you rather than expecting them to hold yours.

The hunt for Perfect bride

Hi readers,

Today, I am writing on a very tricky concept of Indian Bride. Few days back Star TV hosted a reality show named Perfect Bride. However, I could not get through any point which was Perfect about the show and the final bride who got married live over TV. The same point came into my mind today. What qualities should be in a girl which will make her a perfect bride. What do groom's and their parent at first judge about a girl? Well, this is too tricky is not it?

Speaking about arrange marriage, its always beauty of a girl that catches the eye. My perception about Groom's seeking a perfect bride is that, they are in hunt of Miss Universe always, irrespective of their own looks. Then comes the dual thing that is expected out of same girl. For Groom's ladki thodi smart honi chahiye, usko hashi majak achhi lagni chahiye, use ghar ke kam ke saath saath bahar ke kam bhi thodi ani hi chahiye.. Is not it? She should possess almost all qualities to match up with family, friends and the expectations of all.

Apart from all this now days, the height and weight of girl, fair complexion is essential. If a girl manages all this then comes whether she is willing to cook or not? Whether she is angry or not? Will she give respect to everyone? Will she dominate or will she be dominated? Hmm, lots of these qualities are judged in just few mintutes of talk.

Now, coming to groom's parent, they want a girl who should be beautiful, not for their son but to make their next generation beautiful. Ha Ha Ha.. as though genes is something that a girl can interchange according to will. She is then asked questions to judge her sprituality like  how far she believes in God?Whether she believes in reading Gita, will she pray everyday to god? Then comes whether she is willing to adjust in their family. Is it something that a girl who never visits the groom's family before her marriage can answer? Sometimes, parent ask many tricky questions to judge the intelligence of the girl. Like whether she has ever seen God in real? What would you answer to this question?  If you say no then its gone case and if you say yes then you have to manage proving it. How do you do that? Its simple answer as one's own parent. However, the situation is not that easy where the mind will think about these answers randomly. Its too much more horrible than appearing for a job interview. Then, girls are randomly bombarded with questions to judge her qualities. Sometimes, she is asked what quality is essential in a girl to be much appreciated? What is your guess readers?

Is it motherly affection, love, tender loving care, respect, ones skill to keep a family joined? What's your guess..Well, my answer would be motherly affection and tender loving care with additional qualities to keep a family bonded. Why this? Because motherly affection is something that a guy can't give. He can be affectionate but that will never be motherly. However, this might not be correct though as I got a different opinion from elders that its "Sacrifice" that keeps a girl admired. I agree its sacrifice which keeps bonded everyone. Its sacrifice which makes you more considerate. However, is sacrifice only confined to girl? Is not it a domain of boys too. Considering a relationship which is said to be well balanced and happy, I don't think that is one way process with all attempts from the bride. The same affection.love, sacrifice should be from both sides, so that it becomes blissful.

Its a girl who sacrifices her own families love to go to another family. She accepts another family and makes all the strange people her own. If people in that family cannot accept one person readily, then is it damn easy for a girl to sacrifice her lovely family to make this new home her own. Is it easy for her to accept everyone with due respect and love? She might give love or make a fake show of love to keep people bounded but will it come from her own heart where people keep nagging her and pointing out her mistakes. However, my answer is yes for a girl who is much loved and adored by her husband. When she gets a support like a backbone who believes in her and has confidence on her, that inspires her to tackle such nagging relatives too. But, yes when the husband himself is suspicious then life becomes miserable for the girl.

Adoring and making relationship's grow,  is what is called life. The process of making should not be only left to girl. The process of respect, love and care develops when trust is their from both sides. When not just the bride but the groom is willing to sacrifice and compromise. No two individuals are alike and can never stand 100% to each other's expectation. But, the journey of life should be as such that it does not seem to be compromising and sacrificing. When the feeling of sacrifice and compromise comes then how love can blossom in it. And where there is no love is it blissful life?

Beauty of words

Words are amazing, when put together in correct order they can invoke an array of emotions. Words are too powerful to transform relationships, have life-altering effects. Words along with circumstances could save lives and kill people.

Words gain their best power when accompanied with due action. Empty words without action leads to destruction. Human being have tendency to love, words that are sweet to hear. However, no one loves sweet words which never has any meaning. In other words, these sweet words are termed to be emotional atyachaar or simple "cheat".

We all are taught from childhood to always speak sweet words that would elevate the mind. Especially, teachers in primary school load us with stories about people who continuously lie and its impact. I remember one such story, where a young boy plays fowl with people to gain attention. Everyday, he is in a habit of shouting aloud that the tiger has come to village and seeks the help of people. For first few instances people ran to help this little boy. However, when they realised that this kid wants to create panic, they leave him alone. It so happens that one day that boy really sees tiger and is badly in need of help. He shouts aloud, but this time nobody comes for him. People thought it to be yet another trick of him, therefore, nobody bothered about him and continued with their work.

People take you for granted not only if you say lie, but also if you continue to change your words. Especially, when you linger to boast yourself for what you are. Some, people have a habit of saying and boasting what they are. However, they forget the fact that action speaks louder than words. When they do not perform required action as per their words, the world simply laughs at them. The major question is what is the meaning of empty but sweet words?

One such incident happened recently, one of my friend had a habit of boasting, how much work he can do. He not only says about his own work, however he also makes other's part of job his own. He continued boasting all throughout his office during the initial phase of the project. His teammate got fed up of with his words and boasting nature. This person also had habit of changing his words. He would say to the manager that the work would be done by the end of the day. However, could never complete it on time. Moreover, he tries to blame others for not being able to finish on time. However, on a larger picture, it was hard for others specially manager to realise he was actually portraying others part of job as his own. So, his teammate finally decided to teach him a lesson. When the release date of the project was nearing, the teammate took few sick leaves. That day, it was awful for this fellow to handle the project all by himself. Finally, he repented for his past mistakes. And the whole team came to know about his potential and deed.

So, buddies, never try these sort cuts to rise up. It will be too embarrassing to face your peers, friends and family if you are caught red handed. Be it a lie, a sweet but empty word, all are harmful. They can never do any good to anyone when they have got no meaning. Instead of trying to fool others and thinking world is a fool, try doing something which is actually good. The good might be hard to perform, however will never be painful than these kind of embarrassment.

Now, let see how beautifully we can utilise the same word. There are many ways to say the same thing which could be portrayed with the different set of words that we select and arrange. One simple sentence  could be modified in so many numerous ways, which portrays the emotion of the speaker. Here, words does not just convey our emotion, its also conveyed along with the voice and tone that we use to say them. When ever, you want to get respect, say words that has meaning and also be patient. I have a friend who always shows calm and composer while speaking with anyone. Even if she had to wait for someone for a long time, she would never call up and say to hurry up and be fast. The reason being, she feels people make more mistake when they try to be quick. Especially, when someone is travelling, we should not ask them to be quick. As, your words might trigger the  person that he/she has to be too quick to reach, and might lead to accidents. That intention of her and the way she used to say me over call that, "Don't worry, its not late, take your time and come safe". I can never forget these words in life. Had I been in her place, I would have been more impatient in dealing the situation. She made me realise how our brain cells react to such simple words, to be quick and lead us to make mistake.

Well, my journey with blog started after hearing that my words will have greater impact. That day, one thought came to my mind, impact could be good or bad.If I can destroy with words then I could build with same words. Why should I channelise my energy in destruction rather than invention? So, I thought to put down my thoughts with all the energy not just in my personal diary but here in the WEB. When I try putting them up in WEB, I require more energy to make it my best as it is no more confined only to me.

I got good response from all of you, which I never thought to get. Well, thank you all for visiting my blog regularly. When I see the status increasing, that gives me moral support to keep going. Your comments and compliments also add to it.

Bavre se Mann, ki dekho bavri hai baatyein----

Bavre Se Mann, Ki Dekho Bavri Hain Baatein
Bavri Se Dhadkaane Hain, Bavri Hain Saansen

This is dedicated to all boys who continuously try their silly and superb ideas to impress girls. You must be thinking why this as a topic. Well, it’s about some very funny ways that guys do to impress girls.

Guy next door trying to impress neighbor:-

One of my friends had got bed bugs in her bed, which she came to know about after many days of her suffering from their bites. The moment she came to know about it, we all planned to throw away the two mattresses that she was using. That night as it was already too late, and we were not aware where to dump, we planned to shift them to our roof top. We had few extra mattresses with us. So, she took one out of them for her use and remaining were shifted to our balcony. In order to disinfect them we planned to put them in sun.

This balcony was common for two flats and our neighbors were two guys. We left the entire mattress in balcony before we went to office. On return, we were amazed to not find a single mattress outside. The guy next door informed us that, he thought it’s going to rain so he has collected all the mattresses and kept it inside his house. Well, it’s not that he had collected the mattresses from our balcony but also from the rooftop. Oh God, he had mixed the bed bug infected one's with all other. And, we had nothing to say as this was first time that the fellow was interacting with us.  Though, we were not sure how to react, just said plain thanks to him. However, we kept laughing at his act all throughout night.

It’s fun to see boys and their wonderful ways to impress girls. He did not even feel the presence of bed bugs. He would have got great rewards in the form of bed bugs in his room. I have never, heard about someone being so humble to bring our infected mattresses from roof. Huh! this is surely  going to be one of the funniest way to help and impress girls. LOL!!!!!!!!!

College going teenager’s choice:-

During, college days it was fun watching guys trying to impress girls in lot more funny ways. In hostel, everyday a set of guys would come to collect notes, practical records from a single girl, had they been interested in study they would have managed with good notes over a girl making the note. :) Most of the Guys, say "I LOVE YOU" on APRIL FOOL's day, thinking if girl says yes then its wonderful otherwise they would escape rejection by saying its a joke.  Many boys try gifting expensive gifts on Valentine’s Day followed by their formal proposal too. Boys can even go to the height of fighting among themselves to get cosmetic for a girl. Boy's never realise that their staring at girls never make girls feel better, and no girl can be impressed by someone who continuously stares,as if he is going to gulp you as a whole.Guy's even attempt to compliment or comment the girl rigorously, whom they actually admire.

Huh! So many ways to impress girls, however see the facebook of these guys, it would be flooding with quotes and wallpapers that post against girl. My question is why you need to impress girls when you think they are dumb, fool and all non-sense?
